La fine del progetto Italian Body
Music
Il progetto Italian
Body Music è arrivato alla sua fine ed il recente vol.4 é
l'ultima uscita della serie.
Le motivazioni che ci
hanno portato a questa decisione sono varie ma riassumibili principalmente in tre punti.
Il primo punto è che da quando il progetto IBM è iniziato, molte cose sono cambiate e la sua utilità a scopi promozionali è diminuita.
Il secondo punto è un certo disinteresse (anche da parte degli artisti) nel progetto stesso, cosa che ci ha fortemente demotivato.
Il terzo punto è che riteniamo di aver fatto in passato un buon lavoro, anche se con diversi errori soprattutto all'inizio, e di aver già dato ciò che IBM poteva dare. Inutile ora continuare per abitudine o inerzia.
A partire da giugno 2009 il sito www.italianbodymusic.com non sarà più raggiungibile ma verrà sostituito già da ora da www.italianbodymusic.tk, che riproporrà tutti i contenuti del sito originario.
Le compilations resteranno scaricabili in quanto i files verranno ospitati su altri siti mentre non saranno più disponibili i flash players, il guestbook ed il form per le donazioni.
Ci teniamo a ringraziare vivamente tutti gli artisti che hanno partecipato alla nostra iniziativa, tutte le persone che hanno collaborato con noi in tempi più o meno recenti ed infine tutti coloro che ci hanno supportato attivamente, siano essi radio, djs, magazines, webzines o "semplici" ascoltatori.

The end of Italian Body Music
The Italian Body Music
project has reached its end, and the latest volume, the 4th,
has been the last of the series.
The motivations which
lead us to this decision are different but they can be
summarized in three main points.
The first is that,
since the project started, many things changes and its
usefulness concerning promotion has
diminished.
The second point
addresses a certain uninterest in the project, also on the
side of the artits, thing that can be
demotivating.
The third point is that
we think we have done a good job so far and we’ve given to IBM
all we could. It wouldn’t be fair to keep it going because of
inertia or plain routine.
Starting from June 2009
the www.italianbodymusic.com website won’t be accessbile anymore, but will be replaced by
www.italianbodymusic.tk that will
work as a mirror for the former.
The compilations
will still be downloadable on other websites but the flash
players, the guestbook and the donation form won’t be
available anymore.
We want to really
thank all the artists which participated to our initiative,
all the people which cooperated with us and all those who
actively supported us, may them be radios, mags, webzines or
"simple" listeners.
